First-time director Seth Holt's stylish noir drama stars George Nader as a fugitive on the run from the police. Sentenced to ten years in prison for robbing an old lady of her valuable coin collection, Canadian thief Paul Gregory (Nader) is swiftly sprung from jail by his former partner-in-crime Victor Sloane (Bernard Lee). Hoping to retrieve his ill-gotten gains, his plans are derailed when a series of double-crosses forces him to go on the run.
With the police hard on his tail, Gregory finds himself crossing the Welsh countryside with socialite Bridget Howard (Maggie Smith, in her debut role) in tow.
Mock-gothic children's drama set in Victorian England, based on the
novel by Joan Aiken. Bonnie (Emily Hudson) and her cousin Sylvia
(Aleks Darowska) are left at home in Willoughby Hall while their
parents travel abroad, with only the servants and the prowling
wolves for company. Things get even worse for the girls when
evil-looking governess Miss Slighcarp (Stephanie Beacham)
mysteriously turns up at the Hall, bearing news that Lord and Lady
Willoughby have gone missing overseas and that she will henceforth
be in charge of the house and the children's education.
Have you ever been picked on or made fun of? Zeela has because she
is different. Follow Zeela as she copes with being snubbed and
bullied. Being different and unique in a positive way is a good
thing. Being able to forgive others is a very special quality to
have. It means that you have a good heart. Be happy with who you
are.
